We all probably don’t have to be able to tell you that video clip games can be greatly weird. After all, “Super Mario” is basically a surrealist acid trip starring the plumber named Mario.
But a new game, called “Everything, ” takes the entire medium to brand new levels of weirdness. Pretty much any screenshot of typically the game’s new 10-minute movie trailer looks bizarre.
Just like this one:

And this one:
David O’Reilly / Double Fine
And even this specific one:
Jesse O’Reilly 8 ball pool coins / Double Great
The idea with “Everything” is simple: You are able to perform as literally anything inside the world, from single-cell organisms to hot-air balloons.
What’s the goal? Who knows. Is there a goal? That’s not actually clear. Typically the game is from David O’Reilly, the man behind the overall game in the video “Her. inches
O’Reilly describes “Everything” as these kinds of:
“‘Everything’ is surely an active experience where whatever you observe is a thing you may be, from animals to planets to galaxies and over and above. Travel between outer in addition to inner space, and check out a vast, interconnected world of things without forced goals, scores, or jobs to accomplish. ‘Everything’ is a new procedural, AI-driven simulation of the systems of character, seen from the points of view of everything within the Universe. ”
In case it sounds like a new deep, philosophical dive into the nature of being, that’s since it is exactly that. Additionally, it’s narrated by British philosopher Alan Watts. The game’s narrator drives the particular latest trailer for the particular game as well – and it’s a must-see, for anyone, regardless of your current interest in video games.
